Who are we?

The University Theatre of Franche-Comté (UTFC) is an association established in 1986 under the law 1901.

This cultural association upholds the three missions of the university: education (workshops, training courses, organising events), dissemination (performances in France and abroad, bilateral exchanges, international university theatre festivals) and research (review Coulisses, conferences).

Each year there is a range of diverse yet complementary activities, open to all interested persons, on offer:

- Drama workshops
- International University Theatre Festival
- Production and performance of shows at festivals in France and abroad
- Entertainment at local and university events
- Courses and meetings with artists, actors, directors...
- Publication of a theatre review, Coulisses.
